At the beginning of the summer I did not really do anything but sleep a lot, go outside and chill. Then one day, Ms. Holmes, my English teacher, called me and asked if I would be interested in a program blogging about my summer.
At first, I did not want to do it. I like to spend my summer days sleeping and doing nothing. I did not want to get up.
I also thought that no one would be interested in my life. It is pretty boring. But Ms. Holmes convinced me.
One highlight of my summer occurred on the Fourth of July. There was a big party at my house. My friend’s family and people I love were there. We had a good time drinking, dancing and just chilling.
Some people are not blood, but once you know somebody for so long, it is like they are blood. Family first; nothing comes before them. That was the best day of summer.
Another highlight was going to Six Flags a few times, once with family and another with friends. I have a season pass and a flash pass, so I can cut to the front of the line.
I had a good time both times I went, but I had a little more fun with my friends. My mama gets on my back too much for me to relax.
My favorite activity this summer was working on my music. I produce music and rap; I love it, that’s my passion. This summer been a good summer music-wise for me. I made about $500 making music for other people. I love to do it.
I think that is weird because I don’t like to do a lot of things. I’m 15, but I act like a really old, grumpy man. Rapping and producing is something I can do for days.
I had a good summer overall: I went to Six flags, I had a job at my school working with technology, and I spent a lot of time with my family and friends.
This summer was overall one of the best summers I ever had.
